Achillea ptarmica subsp. macrocephala merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Assam hingga China (Yunnan, Guangdong dan Guangxi). Nama ilmiah Achillea ptarmica subsp. macrocephala pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Franz Josef Ruprecht pada tahun 1884.
