Achlys japonica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Berberidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Achlys japonica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Maximowicz pada tahun 1868.
