Achyranthes splendens var. splendens merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii (Maui, Lanai, Oahu). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan maui chaff flower.
