Acianthera similis merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil selatan hingga Argentina (Misiones). Nama ilmiah Acianthera similis diperkenalkan oleh Rudolf Schlechter pada tahun 2016.
