Acidocroton trichophyllus subsp. pilosulus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kuba (Sierra de Nipe). Nama ilmiah Acidocroton trichophyllus subsp. pilosulus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ignatz Urban pada tahun 1983.
