Acilepis tonkinensis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Thailand utara hingga Vietnam. Nama ilmiah Acilepis tonkinensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama François Gagnepain pada tahun 2009.
