Acilepis virgata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Semenanjung Thailand, Laos. Nama ilmiah Acilepis virgata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama François Gagnepain pada tahun 2009.
