Acleisanthes wrightii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Nyctaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Texas barat daya hingga Meksiko (Coahuila). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan wright's trumpets. Nama ilmiah Acleisanthes wrightii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Asa Gray pada tahun 1882.
