Aconitum septentrionale merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Ranunculaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa utara hingga Siberia dan China utara. Nama ilmiah Aconitum septentrionale diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Ludwig Christian Koelle pada tahun 1787.
