Acourtia purpusii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Acourtia purpusii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Townshend Stith Brandegee pada tahun 1973.
