Acourtia thurberi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Arizona hingga New Mexico dan utara dan Meksiko timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan thurber's desertpeony. Nama ilmiah Acourtia thurberi diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Asa Gray pada tahun 1973.
