Acroceras macrum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia hingga Afrika Selatan. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan nile grass. Nama ilmiah Acroceras macrum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Otto Stapf pada tahun 1920.
