Actaea spicata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Ranunculaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa hingga Siberia barat dan Iran utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan baneberry. Nama ilmiah Actaea spicata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
