Actinodaphne gracilis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sumatra. Di Indonesia tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan nama medang junjung atau medang pangkat (Sumatra). Nama ilmiah Actinodaphne gracilis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1861.
