Actinostemon caribaeus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika tengah, Lesser Antilles, hingga Venezuela utara. Nama ilmiah Actinostemon caribaeus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis August Heinrich Rudolf Grisebach pada tahun 1857.
