Adiantum villosum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Pteridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan woolly maidenhair. Nama ilmiah Adiantum villosum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1759.
