Aedesia glabra adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika barat dan barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Aedesia glabra diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich Wilhelm Klatt pada tahun 1897.
