Aegilops speltoides subsp. ligustica merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Yunani timur laut hingga Iran dan Israel. Nama ilmiah Aegilops speltoides subsp. ligustica pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1928.
