Aeschynanthus rhododendron adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Gesneriaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel di batang tumbuhan lain (epifit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Semenanjung Thailand selatan hingga Sumatra. Nama ilmiah Aeschynanthus rhododendron diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Henry Nicholas Ridley pada tahun 1896.
