GARU LAKA Aetoxylonsympetalum (Steenis & Domke) Airy Shaw
Garu laka merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan yang dikenal dengan nama ilmiah Aetoxylon sympetalum ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan Barat. Nama ilmiah Aetoxylon sympetalum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Cornelis Gijsbert Gerrit Jan van Steenis pada tahun 1950.
