Afroligusticum runssoricum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika timur-tengah hingga Uganda barat daya. Nama ilmiah Afroligusticum runssoricum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gustav Adolf Engler pada tahun 2008.
