Afroligusticum scottianum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika timur-tengah hingga Kenya barat daya. Nama ilmiah Afroligusticum scottianum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gustav Adolf Engler pada tahun 2008.
