Ageratina bellidifolia merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Honduras. Nama ilmiah Ageratina bellidifolia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Bentham pada tahun 1970.
