Agrostis arvensis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Chili tengah. Nama ilmiah Agrostis arvensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Rodolfo Amando Philippi pada tahun 1858.
