Agrostis carmichaelii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Tristan da Cunha (termasuk Pulau Inaccessable, Pulau Gough). Nama ilmiah Agrostis carmichaelii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Josef August Schultes pada tahun 1827.
