Agrostis diemenica merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis di wilayah Tasmania. Nama ilmiah Agrostis diemenica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Dennis Ivor Morris pada tahun 2004.
