Agrostis ghiesbreghtii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Agrostis ghiesbreghtii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Eugène Pierre Nicolas Fournier pada tahun 1886.
