Agrostis gigantea subsp. maeotica merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ukraina selatan hingga Krym. Nama ilmiah Agrostis gigantea subsp. maeotica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Michail Vasiljevich Klokov pada tahun 1971.
