Agrostis glabra merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili hingga Argentina barat. Nama ilmiah Agrostis glabra pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jan Svatopluk Presl pada tahun 1833.
