Agrostis hookeriana merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nepal hingga China bagian barat dan barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Agrostis hookeriana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Baron Clarke pada tahun 1896.
