Agrostis petriei adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Pulau Selatan Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Agrostis petriei diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Eduard Hackel pada tahun 1903.
