Agrostis producta merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Sudan Selatan hingga Zimbabwe. Nama ilmiah Agrostis producta diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Robert Knud Friedrich Pilger pada tahun 1907.
