Agrostis scabra adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Siberia timur, Jepang utara dan tengah, hingga Amerika Utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan rough bentgrass. Nama ilmiah Agrostis scabra diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1797.
