Agrostis schmidii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah India. Nama ilmiah Agrostis schmidii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Dalton Hooker pada tahun 1934.
