Agrostis trisetoides merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Chili tengah dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Agrostis trisetoides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ernst Gottlieb von Steudel pada tahun 1854.
