Agrostis zenkeri merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah India barat daya (Nilgiri Hills). Nama ilmiah Agrostis zenkeri diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Bernhard von Trinius pada tahun 1841.
