Ailanthus altissima merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Simaroubaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan tree of heaven atau paradise tree. Nama ilmiah Ailanthus altissima diperkenalkan oleh Philip Miller pada tahun 1916.
