Ailanthus excelsa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Simaroubaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah anak benua India, Kepulauan Andaman. Nama ilmiah Ailanthus excelsa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Roxburgh pada tahun 1795.
