Albertinia brasiliensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil timur. Nama ilmiah Albertinia brasiliensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Curt Polycarp Joachim Sprengel pada tahun 1821.
