Aldama pachycephala merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Aldama pachycephala diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 2011.
