Alectra avensis merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Orobanchaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya, China selatan, Taiwan, hingga Filipina. Nama ilmiah Alectra avensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1917.
