Alectra capensis merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Orobanchaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Alectra capensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1800.
