Alectryon macrococcus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Sapindaceae (suku lerak-lerakan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan hawai'i alectryon. Nama ilmiah Alectryon macrococcus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ludwig Adolph Timotheus Radlkofer pada tahun 1890.
