Alepidea capensis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape tengah. Nama ilmiah Alepidea capensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Peter Jonas Bergius pada tahun 1937.
