Alepidea comosa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Alepidea comosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Richard Arnold Dümmer pada tahun 1913.
