Alepidea macowanii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape timur. Nama ilmiah Alepidea macowanii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Richard Arnold Dümmer pada tahun 1913.
