Allophyllum gilioides merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Polemoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Oregon selatan, Meksiko (Baja Califronia Norte, Sonora), hingga Guadalupe. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan dense false gilyflower. Nama ilmiah Allophyllum gilioides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1955.
