Allophylus chrysothrix merupakan tumbuhan perdu dari famili Sapindaceae (suku lerak-lerakan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat. Nama ilmiah Allophylus chrysothrix diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ludwig Adolph Timotheus Radlkofer pada tahun 2008.
