Alocasia fallax merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Araceae (suku talas-talasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya timur hingga Bangladesh. Nama ilmiah Alocasia fallax diperkenalkan oleh Heinrich Wilhelm Schott pada tahun 1859.
