Aloe gilbertii subsp. megalacanthoides merupakan tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu dari famili Asphodelaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Ethiopia selatan (Gamo Gofa Reg.). Nama ilmiah Aloe gilbertii subsp. megalacanthoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Michael George Gilbert pada tahun 1997.
